Do you want to make the most out of your ORCID record, but don’t know where to start? Send your ORCID iD to the Erasmus Library ORCID team and we will do a quick scan. We check your ORCID record, especially the Works, Employment, Funding, and Peer review sections, and give personal recommendations on how to add information to your ORCID record – or improve the already available information - as easily as possible.
The ORCID iD is a persistent identifier for researchers. Publishers, funders, and employers will ask for your ORCID iD while publishing, peer reviewing and while submitting a grant proposal. With your ORCID iD you also get your ORCID record: there you can make the connections between the ORCID iD and your works, affiliations, funding, peer reviews etc. To add this information, several options exist: auto-updates, one-off imports and manual entries.
With the ORCID Quick Scan, the Erasmus Library ORCID team aims to support researchers in making the most of their ORCID record. When you send us your ORCID iD, we will check your ORCID record. This will result in personalized tips on how to populate and improve your ORCID record.
