The shareholder of EUR Holding BV has appointed drs. Kees van Rooijen as Statutory Director of the Holding and is pleased with this appointment: "With Kees van Rooijen we have found someone with extensive experience within EUR and EUR Holding. Kees has extensive experience in implementing sustainable change within organisations and will use his experience to further develop the Holding on the basis of the many opportunities and challenges that now arise."
Kees van Rooijen will further align the strategy of EUR Holding with the strategy of the EUR and further intensify the relations with the faculties, also in the field of lifelong learning. Kees will start as Statutory Director of EUR Holding BV on January 1, 2022 and will combine this with his current job as Director IHS BV until June 1, 2022 at the latest (until successor is found at IHS BV).
A clear strategy for cooperation
"This position comes at the right time for me. After 12 years of being director of operating companies within the EUR Holding, it is time for a new challenge. With my past in the Executive Board this is a logical and perfect step. There is a lot to develop in the field of lifelong learning and collaborative grants, among other things, and the university has a clear ambition in the field of social impact. The Holding can make an important contribution here. A closer connection between EUR and EUR Holding is required, as well as a clear strategy for cooperation and product development. I'm really looking forward to it and I'm convinced that given the fields of science at the EUR and the market orientation within EUR Holding a lot is possible," says Kees van Rooijen.
