OASYS NOW, founded by Erasmus University Rotterdam alumni Nima Salami and Sara Okhuijsen, has been awarded the prestigious €1 million grand prize at SLUSH 2024, a globally renowned startup event. This accomplishment marks another milestone in their mission to revolutionise health data management by empowering individuals to take control of their clinical trial options and contribute to innovative medical research.

From Berlin to Helsinki: A Winning Streak

OASYS NOW, which provides an intuitive platform connecting patients with clinical trial opportunities worldwide, began its journey here at our Erasmus University Rotterdam. As the first winners of the inaugural Erasmus University Challenge three years ago, organised by Erasmus Enterprise, the team honed their entrepreneurial skills and secured their first major recognition. They also won the Stage Two Berlin prize in 2022, solidifying their position as one of Europe’s top university-affiliated startups.

SLUSH is a global hub for startups, investors, and industry leaders, held annually in Helsinki, Finland. Known for spotlighting transformative innovations, SLUSH serves as a launchpad for entrepreneurial talent tackling global challenges.
