Out of a record number of 168 applications Erasmus Education Fund has granted 11 international students with a scholarship of € 3,000. The selected students are from nine different countries: Egypt, Indonesia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Russia, South Korea, United States and United Kingdom.
What they have in common is that they all distinguish themselves as highly talented and motivated students. Even though they are considered high potential, they are unable to utilize this without financial support. Erasmus Education Fund helps by directly providing a scholarship to these 11 talents, who will start or continue their study at Erasmus School of Economics in the academic year 2018-2019.
Erasmus Education Fund was founded in 2010 by Erasmus School of Economics. Its objective is to support ‘initiatives that enable talented youths from impoverished backgrounds to develop into the leaders of the next generation with the aid of further education’.
