The Supervisory Board of Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) has reappointed Dr. Ellen van Schoten RA as vice chair of the EUR Executive Board (CvB). Her second term will begin January 1, 2025 and is for a period of four years.
Van Schoten has been a member of the CvB since January 1, 2021. She is responsible for the portfolio of professional services, business operations (which includes: Finance, Human Resources, Real Estate & Facilities and Information Technology) and the strategic pillar of sustainability.
The Board of Supervisors is pleased that Van Schoten will serve another term as vice president and looks forward to continuing to work together. "There is great appreciation for Ellen's thorough approach. She has demonstrated her ability and commitment as an administrator in a complex organization. We are pleased that Ellen wants to put her experience and qualities to use for our university for another four years," said Jaap Winter, chairman RvT.

The University Council trust committee has advised in favor of the reappointment of Ellen van Schoten.
