When we hear the term prosperity, we often think of wealth. Rich people have a good job, a big house and a lot of money. However, Professor Frank van Oort advocates a broader approach to the concept of prosperity, which also includes health, safety and clean air. According to Van Oort, prosperity can be better described as quality of life, or simply being happy. Then the big question that follows is: what makes Rotterdammers genuinely happy?
