Below is a brief summary of the dissertation:

Knowledge from scientific research is often expected to inform policy-making practices. The so-called ‘knowledge translation’ field has spent decades developing tools and instruments to facilitate such processes of evidence-informed policy-making. Yet there are increasing signs that our reliance on such instruments and tools has blinded us for the work that happens underneath the surface. The studies in this book thus zoom in on various concealed mundane knowledge translation practices across the globe. The analyses show that a revaluation of mundane work in knowledge translation may ultimately result in more productive practices of evidence-informed policy-making.
