Dissertation in short:

Haemophilia A is an inherited X-linked bleeding disorder, caused by clotting factor VIII (FVIII) deficiency. To diagnose haemophilia and to monitor treatment FVIII activity levels
must be measured. This can be performed using various assays. The aim of this thesis is to investigate how the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of non-severe haemophilia A patients can be individualized.

The public defence will begin exactly at 10.30 hrs. The doors will be closed once the public defence starts, latecomers can access the hall via the fourth floor. Due to the solemn nature of the ceremony, we recommend that you do not take children under the age of 6 to the first part of the ceremony.
