Desire + Capital is back on October 20th. This time, we’re bringing the fruits of our labor to market with McKenzie Wark and Sonia de Jager at MONO Rotterdam. Come join us for an evening of peddling wares and drinking fine ales.
Speakers
McKenzie Wark is Professor of Media and Cultural Studies at The New School in New York City. She is known for many influential works, including A Hacker Manifesto (2004), Molecular Red: Theory for the Anthropocene (2015), Capital Is Dead: Is This Something Worse? (2019), and the new Love and Money, Sex and Death (2023).
Sonia de Jager is a doctoral researcher at Erasmus University Rotterdam and lecturer at the Willem de Kooning Academie. She thinks through and writes on a range of subjects, such as the recently published Semantic Noise and Conceptual Stagnation in Natural Language Processing in Angelaki.
