Project description
In Dutch healthcare governance, several new policy measures have been introduced on an experimental basis, in an attempt to contain costs and improve quality. This research project aims to critically assess what is learned from such policy experiments how and why. The project is based on four case studies: an experiment with free pricing arrangements in dental care, a national innovation program on organizing integrated primary care, evidence based health care governance and a design challenge about new roles and responsibilities for health care providers and citizens.
