What does it mean to consider Planetary Health in Healthcare Management and Policy?
At ESHPM, we are actively advancing the study of Planetary Health—a critical field focused on the interconnectedness between human health and the Earth’s ecosystems. This work is urgent: human health and well-being rely on the health of our planet’s systems, including air, water, climate, biodiversity and resource availability. The degradation of these essential systems threatens not only individual health but also societal stability on a global scale. By understanding and addressing these vital connections, we aim to protect both current and future generations from escalating health and planetary crises.
