Biography
Liesbeth De Strooper (Leuven, 1988) joined the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies in September 2011 as a lecturer and PhD candidate. Her PhD will focus on recent art market history, with the working title There is no bubble like an art bubble. A research on bubble-like behaviour in the art market, its causes and consequences, 1900-2010/11.
Liesbeth received a BA and MA in Art History from the University of Leuven (2010) and a MA in Cultural Economics and Cultural Entrepreneurship from the Erasmus University Rotterdam (2011).
