Biography
Chantal Ho is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Media and Communication at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her doctoral research is part of the Horizon Europe SEISMEC project, supervised by Prof. Dr. Claartje ter Hoeven and Dr. Jason Pridmore. The SEISMEC project, funded by the European Commission aims to demonstrate an empowered, human-centred and ethical development of digital and industrial technologies in 17 pilots across 14 countries.
Chantal holds a BA and MA in Psychology from KU Leuven, specialising in Work and Organisational Psychology. During her master, she completed an Erasmus+ exchange program at the University of Bologna, where she combined a solid understanding of psychological principles with applied statistical methods.
Her research interests include human-centred approaches to trust and acceptance in advanced technology implementation. She aims to conduct impactful research that contributes to European industries in creating human-centric and inclusive workplaces, ensuring equitable benefits for diverse populations.
