Our music taste is associated with our social background. So, a music taste seems unique, but that is not per se the case. How does that work? Cultural sociologist dr. Julian Schaap (Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication) researches this topic. On 11 August he was interviewed for NPO 1, where he answers this question and explains how music taste is connected to social background.
