Research Integrity and Ethics

At ERIM, our commitment to scientific integrity is at the core of our research practices. We follow the principles outlined in the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity (ALLEA 2023) and the Netherlands Code of Conduct for Research Integrity (NCCRI 2018), ensuring that research is conducted with honesty, scrupulousness, transparency, independence, and responsibility. More information on Research Integrity and Ethics at EUR can be found here.

We believe that research integrity goes beyond compliance, which is why we foster a culture that encourages researchers in making ethical decisions and promotes responsible leadership. Our goal is to provide researchers with the knowledge, tools and guidance they need, offering a high-quality integrity framework to achieve excellent research outcomes. This entails a wide range of support systems such as trainings, data management resources and ethics review process. A detailed overview, including updated information, on the research support initiatives and tools offered by ERIM is available for ERIM-affiliated members via this link.
