LDE Sustainability

The Honours Academies at Leiden University, Technical University Delft, and Erasmus University Rotterdam (LDE alliance) present the Bachelor Honours Programme Sustainability for second and third year bachelor’s students.

Programme

This 15 EC programme is split up into two parts:

  1. In the first part of the programme – Fundamentals (5 EC) – expert lecturers from the three universities, as well as guest speakers, will introduce you to key topics in today’s sustainability research and thereby provide you with state-of-the-art insights that will prepare you for working on the second part of the programme – the real-world LDE Sustainability Challenge (10 EC).
  2. In the Sustainability Challenge you will work in a small, multidisciplinary team of students from all three universities on a real-life societal sustainability challenge provided by regional stakeholders from across public, private or civic spheres, thereby making a tangible contribution to a more sustainable world.

For whom?

The Bachelor Honours Programme Sustainability is open to motivated second- and third-year bachelor’s students, who want to develop their fundamental knowledge on sustainability and develop practical skills by addressing real-world sustainability challenges. Only students registered at Leiden University, TU Delft or Erasmus University Rotterdam can apply.
