Through the Student-Centred Support programme line, we work towards equal opportunities for success in academic education. We adopt a broad definition of student success, which includes not only academic achievement (including graduation from academic education) but also physical and mental well-being, student satisfaction, and sense of belonging. In this programme line, we collaborate with various EUR departments to develop inclusive student services for all students.
Advice and counselling
The EUR offers a range of student services, covering areas such as legal and financial support, mental health assistance, and career advice. In addition to individual guidance, the Student Guidance and Advice department also provides group training sessions. Examples include exam anxiety training, the study intensification group, resume reviews, and job application training. For study programme related queries, students can contact the study advisor of their respective faculty.

Pre Academic Programme
The transition from secondary school to university, or from vocational education (HBO) to university, can be challenging. The EUR offers the successful Pre-Academic Programme to prepare all incoming first-year students for this important transition. This summer programme helps incoming students learn effective study techniques, develop personal leadership skills, and familiarize themselves with a new academic environment and culture, ensuring a successful start to their first year at university.

Student Wellbeing
The Student Well-Being Programme offers a diverse range of online and offline activities aimed at improving students’ mental and physical health, fostering a strong student community, and ensuring social safety on and around campus. The programme supports students and challenges them to fully develop their talents and personal growth.
