Biography
Richard works as an associate professor of health systems & insurance at the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management of the Erasmus University Rotterdam. His research and teaching focus on the evaluation and improvement of health systems & insurance. Specific areas of expertise include regulated competition, risk adjustment, risk sharing, provider payment methods and consumer cost sharing. A key question in Richard’s work is “How to achieve universal access to healthcare while enabling and incentivizing consumers and provider to use resources wisely?”
