The scientific coordinator of the European Research Centre for Economic and Financial Governance (EURO-CEFG) and ESL researcher René Repasi was invited to a colloquium organised by the European School of Industrial Relation (SERI) and the Italian Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini (FGB) to hold the keynote speech on the European Unemployment Benefit Scheme (EUBS).
Repasi is part of a research consortium led by the Brussels-based think tank CEPS that currently drafts an extensive feasibility study of a European Unemployment Benefit Scheme commissioned by the European Commission. Repasi’s part in the study is on the EU legal feasibility of EUBS. SERI and FGB dedicated a colloquium to the theme of the EUBS and invited Repasi to present the interim results of his study and to give an insight into the policy debate at EU level.
