What

Branding is the creation of a brand around the solution.

Why

Brands make something recognisable and contribute to the transfer and spread of your solution.

How

  1. Determine the brand’s target group(s). Is this the target group of your solution, the client and/or other stakeholders?
  2. Decide how you want this target group or these target groups to see the solution. Which associations should the brand evoke? Which values should it stand for?
  3. Think about the brand’s message. Which message about the solution do you want to bring home to the target group(s)?
  4. Brainstorm about the elements that make up the brand. For example, think of a name, slogan and logo.
  5. Elaborate the elements of the brand and use these in your communication about the solution – in presentations, reports, videos, a website and so on. Ensure the various elements have a united appearance and reinforce each other.
