Place, Culture and Tourism student gets OKP scholarship

Good news for the Armenian Nane Khachatryan who will start the new Master; Place, Culture and Tourism in September. She has been selected for the Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP).

This scholarship will provide her with financial support to study at the ESHCC. Nane was the only candidate that EUR found good enough to nominate for this prestigious programme.

About the OKP

OKP’s main objective is to contribute to a society’s sustainable and inclusive development by strengthening the capacity, knowledge and quality of both individuals and organisations in the field of Technical, Vocational Education & Training and Higher Education, and in other fields related to our government’s priority themes. The 5-year programme is financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and is managed by Nuffic.

What does this support mean?

For Nane this support means that her study will be fund by the tuition fee, that her return ticket will be covered as well as her visa costs and she that will get a fixed contribution which covers rent and living in the Netherlands.
