On Saturday 1 February 2025, the University Library's EBSCOhost databases, including Business Source Premier, Historical Abstracts and EBSCOhost eBooks, will receive a new user interface.
The new EBSCOhost interface offers a modern, user-friendly layout that promotes accessibility.
Some of the changes:
- You can apply quick filters on the search page and the search results page, for example to filter by peer-reviewed content or publication date. The All filters option on the search results page opens the Filter panel with all available filters, including language and source type.
- Where applicable, the database thesaurus is available on the Advanced Search page, via Subjects below the search bars.
- If you sign in to MyEBSCO, using your ERNA account, you can use My Dashboard to save results and searches, and to create alerts.
Please note: Journal and search alerts created in the classic interface will not migrate to the new interface. You will need to recreate them in the new interface. Custom folders will also not migrate. In this article EBSCO explains what you can do if you have been using MyEBSCO in the classic interface.
