Mariangela Lavanga will be giving two presentations during the “Fashion Colloquium: Searching for the New Luxury”, which takes place on May 31 & June 1, 2018 in Musis in Arnhem, NL.
The international conference will explore how we can transition to a more resilient future of fashion, how fashion can serve as a tool for creating societal transformation in itself. The aim is to deeply analyze and critically reflect on the cracks in the system, while simultaneously developing affirmative, alternative approaches.
Mariangela Lavanga will be giving two presentations:
- Crowdfunding and Fashion: a successful marriage? (together with Carolina dalla Chiesa, Alina Pavlova and Nadiya Pysana)
- Exploring the Role of Independent Fashion Designers in Creating the ‘New Luxury’ Alternative (together with Taylor Brydges)
