On Thursday 1 June, the first Arts and Culture Studies alumni event took place. We welcomed many former students on campus for a refresher in the field of Arts and Culture, followed by networking drinks in the Erasmus Paviljoen.
The evening started with a warm welcome by Education Programme Director of the Arts and Culture Department, Koen van Eijck. Alumna Lisa Wolters, graduate of the master specialisation Cultural Economics and Entrepreneurship (2011) and working as Impact Manager at Creative Industries Fund NL, took us along in the world of making impact. She passionately talked about practicalities, successes, and challenges relating to impact management in the cultural and creative sector. Pauwke Berkers, Head of the Arts and Culture Department, closed the evening by sharing the vision of the department on impact and invited our alumni to reach out for future collaboration.
After the inspiring talks, there was plenty of time for our alumni to catch-up and (re)connect with each other during the networking drinks.
We look back at a wonderful event. To all alumni (and staff) that joined us: thank you for a great evening!
