Dr. Mark Edward Hay has been awarded the Economic History Society Postan Junior Research Fellowship, with domicile at the Institute of Historical Research, School of Advanced Study, University of London, for a project that explores the role and impact of female financiers on the consolidation and national re-orientation of the Amsterdam capital market in the immediate aftermath of the Napoleonic era, 1813-1825. This means for one year 0,5 fte research, which dr. Hay adds to his lecturer position at the History Department.
