We are proud to announce that Yijing Wang, a faculty member at ESHCC, has been awarded two prestigious visiting scholarships for the academic year 2024-2025. Yijing will be a visiting scholar at both Lund University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where she will deliver research workshops, collaborate with scholars from both institutions, and serve as a committee member for PhD defenses.
Yijing has been actively collaborating with communication scholars at both universities on research related to strategic communication in sustainability transitions. Their ongoing projects tackle urgent societal issues, such as how transformative technologies like generative AI and big data are reshaping relational dynamics in collaborative and communication contexts. Additionally, they explore how media pressure influences organizations to engage with controversial sociopolitical issues, offering insights into how organizations navigate complex public expectations.
