Recently Dr. Marc Verboord from the Department of Media and Communication (ESHCC) was a visiting professor in the Department of Media, Cognition and Communication at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
Dr. Verboord gave various guest lectures within the Master programme Journalism, Culture and Society: Theory and Analysis, coordinated by Nete Nørgaard Kristensen. In addition, he gave a guest talk on music mavens at the research seminar in the department.
During his stay in Copenhagen, Dr. Verboord was also an opponent in the PhD pre-defense of Troels Østergaard, who is writing a PhD thesis on “Popular music journalism in the digital age” at Aarhus University. Additionally, he gave a guest lecture in the Erasmus Mundus Program MA in Journalism, Media and Globalisation at that same university.
At Erasmus University Rotterdam, Dr. Verboord teaches in the International Bachelor Communication and Media (IBCoM), the MA Media Studies and the Research MA Sociology of Culture, Media and the Arts. Please visit his personal page for more information.
