Alexandra Joon is a finalist for the EUPRERA thesis award

Master Media & Business graduate Alexandra Joon is one of the three finalists in the ‘theoretical impact’ category for the EUPRERA thesis award. The EUPRERA (European Public Relations Education and Research Association) has run the Master Thesis Award competition since 1995. They wish to honor and reward Masters Theses that make a significant professional/practical or academic contribution to the field of Public Relations in Europe.

In this award, there are two categories for the Master Theses: the Practical Impact Award and the Theoretical Impact Award. Out of 19 applications from 11 different countries, Alexandra is one of the three finalists for the Theoretical Impact award with her thesis: ‘A Little Bird told me… Examining the Relevance of Social Media for Reputation Management in Dutch Hospitals’.

The winner of the award will receive a certificate and will also be invited to present their thesis at the EUPRERA Annual Congress, the main gathering for public relations scholars in Europe. Travel expenses and accommodation will be paid (up to € 500 each winner) for the participants.
