Hatta Arts is an Indonesian Art Festival with music, dance and theatre. With the theme ‘Terjebak Nostalgia’ (stuck in Nostalgia) you are invited to go back to Indonesia in the 90s!
Are you ready for an Indonesian adventure? This year Hatta Arts brings you back to Indonesia in the 90s. A festival with various bands, music theatre, traditional and modern dance, poetry and performances. Organized by Indonesian Student Association PPI.
Satay, Nasi Goreng, Indomie... Do you recognize all these food? Yes, they are all the best of Indonesia's delicacy. But, Indonesia is more than just good food or our famous instant noodles. We are also home of more than 300 ethnicities and more than 17,000 islands. Thus, Indonesia has a very diverse and mixed culture that is strongly displayed in our various forms of arts. Hatta Arts is an annual event created by Indonesian Students Association PPI to exhibit Indonesia’s culture through art performances. This year’s theme is ‘Terjebak Nostalgia’. Back to the 90’s!
The program:
The program includes theater based on the legendary Indonesian film, various bands, traditional and modern dance and Indonesian traditional music.
Each performance lasts 15 minutes, you can come and watch and stay as long as you want. Admission is free, but you do need a ticket. The festival takes place between 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. The order of performances will be announced later.
