Paper 'Virtuous Leadership' awarded with Outstanding Paper Award from Emerald

The paper "Virtuous leadership: a source of employee well-being and trust" has been awarded the Outstanding Paper Award from Emerald. It provides novel evidence that a supervisor’s virtuous leadership positively influences the work-related well-being of subordinates through greater trust. This insight holds across industries and countries and ultimately benefits organizational performance. In other words, virtuous leadership pays off!

The paper is the result of research by Martijn Hendriks, Martijn Burger, Antoinette Rijsenbilt, Emma Pleeging and Harry Commandeur. It has been published in Management Research Review.
