The Kölner Hochschule für Katholische Theologie organizes a conference on the social ethics of pope Benedict XVI.
Joseph Ratzinger has undoubtedly been an important theologian for the Catholic Church, especially concerning dogmatics. Nevertheless, he also gave attention to social matters. His social encyclicals and major speeches on social issues provide ample reflection on the social issues of our time. However, their coherence and structure have not yet been the topic of elaborate research. The conference aims to explore these issues. It is held in Köln at the Kölner Hochschule für Katholische Theologie.
