Biography
I am a Lecturer in Social and Behavioural Sciences at Erasmus University College, where I also mentor first-year students and assist in organising the University Teaching Qualification programme.
My principal area of expertise lies at the intersection of Global History, International Public Policy, and International Relations (IR). My previous studies have delved into the complexities of international governance, policy-making processes, and historical discourse. Specifically, I examined how the speeches of various EU Presidents can be analysed through the lens of IR theory. Additionally, I explored narratives of history and counterfactual history, focusing on how these narratives are constructed and interpreted, reflecting and challenging broader historical themes and interpretations.
At Erasmus University College, I teach courses on International Relations, Humans & Society, Introduction to Law, and Basics of Life. I also provide instruction on qualitative research methods, helping students to develop their analytical and research capabilities.
