Biography
Serge is senior lecturer in the Media & Business program at ESHCC, Erasmus University Rotterdam. His interests focus on the adoption of innovations, specifically the adoption of smart products. In addition, he is interested in the role of knowledge characteristics, knowledge management processes, and attitudinal and behavioral responses to different forms of coordination and collaboration. Serge has expertise in the use of experimental and non-experimental quantitative designs or combinations thereof. His work received several awards from the Product Development & Management Association and from the Academy of Management. His research has been published in journals such as the Journal of Management Studies, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship: Theory & Practice, Marketing Letters, and Service Industries Journal and the PDMA handbook of New Product Development. In addition, Serge holds a part-time position as lecturer in Innovation Management at the School of Business and Economics, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
