Biography
Mustafa joined Rotterdam School of Management in 2023 as an Assistant Professor of Accounting. He obtained his PhD degree from Tilburg University. During his Phd, he had the privilege of visiting Columbia Business School in New York as a visiting scholar. Mustafa is passionate about disclosure research; particularly on the real effects of corporate disclosures. He currently examines the effects of corporate disclosures on capital markets, firms, and competitors.
He is also interested in data science and actively uses textual analysis techniques to extract and collect information from corporate disclosures or web sources. He is also a member of the SSH-Breed Sectorplan of Erasmus University on digital decision support theme.
