Biography
My research focuses on how marginalized groups appropriate ICTs. It is crucial for me to understand how these groups negotiate their agency within techno-social structures to change society’s recognition order. Joining the Civic Innovation group at the ISS has allowed me to delve deeper, specifically examining the impact of Artificial Intelligence on marginalized groups, particularly people with disabilities. It is important to assess how AI technologies affect the lives of these groups and how they are adapting and using these technologies to meet their needs.
Areas of expertise:
- Empowerment of marginalized groups through artificial intelligence technologies
- Social media activism of the marginalized
