Biography
I am an Assistant Professor in Strategic Management at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
My research rests at the intersection of the fields of corporate strategy, innovation management, and international business. It focuses on how firms learn and protect knowledge while engaging in alliances, acquisitions, and divestitures within international settings. My research draws primarily from the organizational learning and knowledge management literatures, alluding to vicarious learning, absorptive capacity, and transfer learning. I investigate these topics empirically by relying on archival data and using quantitative methods, including the analysis of patent data, propensity-score matching, and sequence analysis.
I hold a PhD in Business Administration and Management from Bocconi University, a MSc in International Management from ESADE Business School, and a CEMS MIM from National University of Singapore and ESADE Business School.
