Biography
Francesco Colin is a PhD researcher at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS-EUR) and an associate fellow at the Moroccan Institute for Policy Analysis in Rabat. His doctoral research focuses on civic engagement and active citizenship through local petitions in Morocco. He also collaborates with different research projects on political participation, social accountability, decentralisation and the impact of technology on local governance.
Prior to his research activities, Francesco graduated from the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree "Crossing the Mediterranean: Towards Investment and Integration" (MIM) and has worked for the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Rabat as a junior expert for the Democratisation component.
