The Erasmus Data Summit is a conference hosted by the Erasmus Centre for Data Analytics (ECDA). It seeks to connect AI-experts, professionals, researchers, and students across and beyond Erasmus University Rotterdam. By hosting inspiring talks and panel discussions, the conference was a real-time mapping exercise of the current landscape of Generative AI and Immersive Technology. Topics covered the impact on the future of education, work, art, and health with relevant examples from experts in the field.
An impressive diversity of speakers was present at the conference, including a police officer, software company CEO, a consultant with Deloitte, and various academics. Having this multivocal approach to responsible AI, the conference was an inspiring learning experience for AI MAPS, which shares the multi- and transdisciplinary ambition.
