About Curt Rice

Curt Rice is the President of Oslo Metropolitan University and the Head of Norway’s Committee on Gender Balance and Diversity in Research. He is a world-renowned pioneer on the subject of gender equality in academia and has been involved in several FP7 and H2020 projects on the topic gender equality. Earlier in 2018, he was invited by the Nobel Foundation to address the Nobel Committees, which face challenges regarding the extreme gender imbalance in their list of laureates. Some of his suggestions were recently also discussed in an interview with Nature, the International journal of science.
