Almost every company in Europe will have to deal with sustainability reporting (ESG Reporting) in the near future. For large companies, the CSRD will lead to significant new regulations from the 2024/2025 reporting year. SMEs will also be questioned by requiring large companies to request information on their supply chain (suppliers, customers). Mandatory reporting will also affect a company's corporate social responsibility strategy. This is a tremendous challenge for executive, supervisory and regulatory directors, accountants, (business) controllers and other finance professionals.

Why this Executive Program?
Based on the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), the ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards) have been published, a comprehensive set of new reporting rules. Sustainability is a broad concept covering Environmental | E, Social | S and Governance | G aspects. A company is not bound by all specific rules; what determines what information is relevant is based on alignment with stakeholders. Understanding the content and consequences of the new regulations is necessary to achieve responsible application. This executive progam gives you a solid foundation to get started at your organisation. After completing the Executive Program ESG Reporting Expert, you will have:
- a complete picture of the new laws and regulations on sustainability reporting and be able to put this in a historical perspective
- new insights into the implications of the new sustainability regulations for your own practice
- tools to integrate sustainability in company policy
- insight into the work the auditor performs when assessing or auditing the sustainability report
- tools to perform/assess a double materiality analysis
- in-depth knowledge of the various ESRSs, linked to Environmental, Social and Governance respectively
- the skills to view the ESGs in relation to the SDGs
- more grip on opportunities and dilemmas
