Conference fee
The conference fee is as follows:
- 250 Euros for presenters
- 280 Euros for regular participants
Including lunch and coffee breaks. Moreover, a conference dinner is included as well.
Registration is possible until the 1st of June.
Participants from the Global South, as well as those with limited financial means, can request a scholarship, in which case the participation fee will be waived. If you like to apply for this, please write an email to eeti@eur.nl stating that you are requesting a scholarship, and briefly explaining why you do so.
Date & Venue
The conference venue is Erasmus University Rotterdam, Campus Woudestein, the Mandeville Building (Mandeville was notorious for claiming that vice is the cause of prosperity).
Start: Thursday 19 June at 9 AM CET and
Ends: Friday 20 June at 5PM CET.
Woudestein Campus is situated at the Burgemeester Oudlaan 50 in Rotterdam. The campus can easily be reached by car or with public transportation.
Accommodation
There is no accomodation available at campus. However, we can recommend the Novotel, which is located next to the campus. Moreover, Rotterdam is an important business hub, so there are plenty of hotels nearby. It is advisable to book a hotel in the eastern outskirts of Rotterdam or the city center, which both have good public transport connections to the campus. A selection of hotels can be found below.

Transportation
Public transportation
RET is the independent public transport company that serves Rotterdam. With the trams, buses or subway of the RET, you can travel to the campus.
From Rotterdam Central Station (new lines starting 6 January 2025)
- Tram Line 1: Holy - Rotterdam Centraal - De Esch
Tram Line 7: Marconiplein - Rotterdam Centraal - Woudestein
Tram Line 11: Woudhoek - Rotterdam Centraal - De Esch - Subway, direction Slinge. Transfer at Beurs, to subway in the direction of Binnenhof, Nesselande or De Terp. Get off the subway at station Kralingse Zoom. This subway is within walking distance (10 minutes) of the campus.
From Rotterdam Alexander
- Subway, direction Schiedam Centrum or De Akkers. Get off the subway at station Kralingse Zoom. This subway is within walking distance (10 minutes) of the campus.
- Bus Line 36: direction Kralingse Zoom. Endpoint Kralingse Zoom is within walking distance (10 minutes) of the campus.
Route description car
The Woudestein campus is situated near the A16 and easily accessible by car.
- On the A16, from both directions, take exit 25 (Centrum).
- Follow the signs 'Centrum'.
- Turn right at the traffic lights (Burgemeester Oudlaan).
- You will find the Woudestein campus on the right-hand side.

Schiphol Airport (AMS) near Amsterdam is 64 km (50 minutes by car, good train connections)
Rotterdam The Hague Airport (RTM), in Rotterdam is 13 km (15 minutes by car, public transport available)

Rotterdam Central Station is situated at the heart of the city.
